Our Appeal

At this time, we appeal to the community at large to come forward and donate to help build a Sikh Gurdwara in Austin.

What motivates us for this worthy cause

As a part of the physical growth of the "Austin, the capital of Texas" city, it is also critical to support the spiritual development of the community. There are magnificent holy places like Churches, Mosques, Buddhist, Chinese, and Hindu Temple's within the perimeters of the city. However, there is one missing link, and that is absence of Sikh Gurdwara where the community may worship with family and friends.

Our Plan

Currently we have $104,000 collected from the Austin community. The following highlights our planning in terms of phases, collections and locations to help get the Gurdwara up and running in next coming months.

Plan A

	Phase 1 Dec 2007 ($300 K) – Areas of Central Texas including Austin, Dallas, SA and Houston
	Phase 2 July 2008 ($300 K) – Areas of Central Texas and Outside of Texas
	Phase 3 Dec 2008 ($300 K) - North America and UK

Plan B

If we find an existing structure that is acceptable, we acquire it on a fast track.

We will be conducting local fundraising activities including contacting local city Officials, politicians and patrons during this time.

Please donate as much as you can. You can donate for this noble cause by any of the following methods

	We are registered with the Direct giving process with companies like Dell Inc. in the US that will match your donation amount.
